How-To View Attachments
To view attachments; your email delivery status must be set to receive all "Individual Emails"
Individual Emails: Messages are delivered one at a time to your email inbox. This is the best option if you want to keep up on the latest posts immediately. Email attachments will be sent directly to you, if included in a message and allowed.
To set the Message Delivery option for each group:
go online to My Groups: http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups
click "Edit My Groups"
make your selection in the "Message Delivery" column for each group
when finished, click "Save Changes"
NOTE: The maximum size of email messages that can be posted to a group is 1MB. This includes both the message body and the attachment. As a general rule, attachments should be no larger than 800KB. If you post a message larger than 1MB it will be returned to you.
Other Message Delivery Options:
Daily Digest: Messages are delivered in batches of 25 or daily, whichever comes sooner. This is the best option if you want to receive fewer mail messages and do not need up-to-the minute posts in your inbox. Email attachments are not available in digests.
No Email (Web Only): The best option to choose if you prefer to only read messages on the web. Also useful if you need to temporarily put message delivery on hold, for example while you are on vacation. If message archives are available, this option also permits you to read messages at the Yahoo! Groups web site. Attachments are not available since they are not archived.
Special Notices: This option is similar to No Email because you wiil not receive normal group messages. However, if the group moderator posts "Special Notices" messages, you will be able to receive those. Attachments are not available since they are not archived.
